Warner Bros. Discovery unit, MotorTrend Group, Dec. 13 announced expanded distribution of the brand’s automotive TV programming — MotorTrend FAST TV — with new availability on the Amazon Freevee app.
“The more platforms we are available on, the more automotive enthusiasts we can reach, and ultimately the more viewers we can introduce to the motoring world,” Mark Jocson, head of distribution, MotorTrend Group, said in a statement.
Amazon Freevee, formerly known as IMDb TV, is a streaming video service featuring premium movies and TV shows, including originals and free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels.
MotorTrend FAST TV shows include “Roadkill,” “Bitchin’ Rides,” and “Texas Metal,” among others. “Roadkill” features experts David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan, who specialize in automotive chaos theory – brilliant execution of bad ideas involving all manner of muscle cars, 4x4s and/or hot rods. The show has spawned a spinoff show, “Faster with Finnegan”.
MotorTrend FAST TV is currently also available on platforms, including Samsung TV Plus and Comcast’s Xumo.
