Pasay BPLO suspends number coding scheme in renewal of business permit

The Pasay City government announced the suspension of number coding scheme in business permit renewal starting Friday, Jan. 13.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) will be accepting applications for renewal of business permit any time.

Rubiano has called on all business establishments in the city to visit the four Business Permits One Stop Shop (BOSS) sites identified by BPLO from Monday to Saturday at 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

She said the four sites for the renewal of business permits are at the Pasay City Astrodome located at Derham Park from Jan. 3 to 14; Double Dragon Plaza on Macapagal Boulevard; Newport Mall from Jan. 3 to 20; and Mall of Asia from Jan. 14 to 20.

Rubiano said BPLO head Mitch Pardo announced on Jan. 4 that the business permit renewal will be conducted until Jan. 20.

Pardo said they will not extend the business permit renewal and those who will renew their permit after Jan. 20 will pay 20 percent additional fee as penalty.
