Formula by example, similar to the existing Flash Fill feature, will propose formulae to users as they repeatedly enter data in a column. If Excel notices a pattern in the information being input, it will suggest using an equation to fill the entire column to expedite the process.
When users write the “=” sign in a cell or the formula bar, Excel will now recommend the best formula according to the context and analytical capabilities. The formulae available are SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, COUNTA, MIN, and MAX. This tool is presently only available in English and is in the process of being rolled out to online users.
Suggested Links will make working with cloud workbooks simpler. When an outside url to a Cloud workbook is broken, Suggested Links will easily detect it and offer a new place to fix the broken connection. This functionality will soon be rolled out to web users.
