  1. Coding experts from an Atlanta-based company recently headed to Patrick Elementary down the road in Buford to teach students coding lessons over three days. The technology company Accenture has been working with schools across Metro Atlanta to introduce students to coding since 2012. (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
  2. Gwinnett County firefighters responded to a fire at an abandoned building in nearby Lawrenceville on Sunday morning. Crews found a homeless person lying on the ground near the fire who reported smoke inhalation and took the person to the local hospital for treatment. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control land determine that no one was in the building. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
